Which are the conditions for application?

The following conditions make you eligible for application to the LLM programmes:

  1. A law degree which gives general access to the exercise of legal professions in your home country (licentiaat, licencié, B.A., I.D.) OR being in final year of law with prospect of obtaining diploma before the commencement of the next LLM session.
  2. Proof of English proficiency: for non-native English speakers outside EU:
    1. Paper TOEFL test score - minimum: 590
    2. Internet TOEFL test score - minimum: 95
    3. IELTS test score - minimum: 7
    4. ITACE test score (for Belgian applicants) - minimum: C1

Other language tests will not be considered for admission to the LLM programmes. An applicant is to provide TOEFL/IELTS/ITACE test score with his/her application. If the TOEFL/IELTS/ITACE test score is being awaited at the time of application, admission can only be considered conditional, i.e. under the condition that the minimum TOEFL/IELTS/ITACE score is provided to the programme before the commencement of the LLM session.

Taking part in the LLM programmes is possible after you submit your application accompanied by all requested documents, and provided that you are selected by the selection board for the next LLM session.
