Yannick Terryn (1985) is a PhD student at the Department of European, Public and International Law of the Faculty of Law, Ghent University.
He holds a Master in Criminology (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, 2008) and a Master in Law (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, magna cum laude, 2016). His thesis on “(Dis)proportionality in disciplinary punishment for Belgian integrated police: status quaestionis” was published in ‘Juridische Meesterwerken VUB 2015-2016’. His doctoral research focuses on the illicit international trade in fauna and flora.
