Prof. Dr. Louise de Tremerie

Louise De Tremerie is responsible for European Affairs at North Sea Port. She takes a focus on climate, energy and industry related dossiers and represents the port in Brussels. Prior to that, she was an advisor in the European Parliament where she worked closely on transport and port policy. She holds a PhD in Transport Studies from the Institute of Transport Studies at the University of Leeds (UK) and has been sharing her EU policy reflections as a public speaker. 

Louise joined the teaching staff of the MSc in Maritime Science course in 2026 to share her experience with students through the course Contemporary Port Problems.
