Short bio
I am Anse Stevens and working as an academic assistant and PhD researcher at the Faculty of Law and Criminology since March 2019. In the academic year 2015-2016 I obtained my Master’s degree in Criminology at Ghent University and in February 2019 an additional Bachelor degree in Social Work at Hogeschool Ghent. In my PhD research I study the police selection and socialization of inspectors, chief inspectors and commissioners in the Belgian police force, by means of a panel study using quantitative and qualitative methods.
