Beatrice Hamilton

Expertise: International Law, International Environmental Law and International Humanitarian Law.

Beatrice is appointed as the Teaching Fellow for the Environmental Law and Policy LLM program at Stanford Law School.

Beatrice holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Commercial Law, Master of International Relations, Master of Diplomacy and Trade and is a doctoral candidate in the Department of European, Public and International Law. Her thesis focuses on the protection of the environment during armed conflict.

Beatrice has previously held the position of Teaching Fellow in International Law at the University of Edinburgh and has held the position of Lecturer in Law at the University of Western Australia. Beatrice is Research Associate at the Edinburgh Centre for International and Global Law.

Beatrice serves as the Chair of the Congress of Nations and States Environmental Commission and has previously served as Chair in Environment at the United Nations Association Australia Western Australian Division.

Prior to academia, Beatrice has worked in both the private and public sectors and has a background in environmental policy.
