Beatrice Hamilton

Expertise: International Law, International Environmental Law and International Humanitarian Law.

Beatrice holds the position of Teaching Fellow in International Law at the University of Edinburgh. Beatrice has previously held the position of Lecturer in Law at the University of Western Australia and Chair in Environment at the United Nations Association Australia Western Australian Division.

Beatrice holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Commercial Law (Deakin), Master of International Relations (Griffith) and is also completing a Master of Diplomacy and Trade (Monash) and is a PhD candidate at Ghent University. Her thesis focuses on the protection of the environment during armed conflict.

Prior to academia, Beatrice has worked in both the private and public sectors and has a background in Environmental policy.
