Artem Chernoshtan

Artem Chernoshtan has graduated as Master of Laws in 2015 and Master of Science in Maritime Science (magna cum laude) in 2016, both at Ghent University. 

The maritime theme has been a common thread throughout Artem’s professional and academic career. As thesis research he has written on the topics of “Maritime Spatial Planning” and “Charter Party clauses”. In 2018-19 Artem has continued his education with the Postgraduate in Port Management at the Maritime Institute Ghent (now Gandaius Academy). 

Artem Chernoshtan began his career as an attorney with Van Hoorebeke Advocaten in Ghent, is now active as contract manager for DAB Loodswezen (Flemish Pilotage Service) and more recently has also become practical assistant for the MSc in Maritime Science course “Study and Field trips”.
